I received an email from a company I do not know. Is this spam?

No. An email goes out only when your public HeadHunter profile has matched a specific project — the matching runs across 20+ requirements. Inside there is a link to your personal match page and the breakdown “why we contacted you specifically”.

Not interested — simply do not reply: without your answer nothing happens. Interested — your response is sent as a link to your hh CV, without registration.

We do — it is in the platform. There is an account area too. The difference is not the feature set but the mode: you do not need to work through the catalogue by hand, because a match across 20+ requirements cannot be seen by eye.

    We find your public profile on HeadHunter — the same open CV that any employer sees.

  2. step 02

    Matching across 20+ requirements

    Automated matching checks the profile against the project. What matched is marked; what cannot be seen from the CV is marked “not verified”.

  3. step 03

    An invitation with a breakdown

    An email arrives with a link to your match page — carrying the breakdown “why we contacted you specifically”.

At none of the three steps are you required to live on the site: there is no visiting every day and no applying all day long here — you drop in only when a match has already occurred.
